  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

Get ready to laugh with classic episodes with The Carol Burnett Show – Carol’s Favorites on WITF Saturdays beginning in September.

Starting in 1967 and continuing for 11 straight years, it was the ultimate variety show with music, acting, larger-than-life guest stars, and, of course, comedy. The Carol Burnett Show – Carol’s Favorites broadcasts on WITF Saturdays at 7pm beginning September 12.  This series is not available through the PBS Video app.  The Lawrence Welk Show, previously shown at 7pm, will now broadcast at 6pm Saturdays on WITF.
