This summer WITF is broadcasting a series of concerts on WITF TV.  We’re pleased to announce the addition of Avett Brothers Live at Red Rocks to the series.

Three-time Grammy Award® nominees The Avett Brothers’ energetic and eclectic combination of bluegrass, country, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, indie rock, honky-tonk, and ragtime has been delighting concert audiences nationwide since the band’s founding in 2001. On July 7, 2019, they celebrated their sixth consecutive year of sold-out concerts at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the world’s only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater, located just outside of Denver. Over 9,000 fans danced, sang, and cheered — it was the perfect way to spend a warm summer evening. Now, that magical night is available for you. Catch this sneak peak of the concert:

Avett Brothers Live at Red Rocks features performances of “Live and Die,” “Down with the Shine,” “Head Full of Doubt,” “High Steppin,’” “Ain’t No Man,” “Laundry Room” and more.

The Avett Brothers made their major label debut in 2009 with the album I and Love and You, landing at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 and garnering critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Paste, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and Time. The Carpenter (2012) hit #4 on the Billboard Top 200, received enthusiastic reviews from People, USA Today and American Songwriter, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album. Magpie and the Dandelion (2013), their eighth studio album, debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200. True Sadness (2016), hit #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums Chart, #1 Top Rock Albums Chart, #1 Digital Albums Chart, #3 on the Billboard Top 200 and scored two Grammy nominations. The Avett Brothers were inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2016 and continue to be revered as one of the top folk-rock acts in the country.
