10:00am – The Gettysburg Story – The story of Gettysburg is told with breathtaking imagery of legendary places of the battlefield.
11:00am – Ride Along the Lincoln Highway – The history and wonderful landmarks found along the first coast-to-coast highway are chronicled.
12:00pm – The Great Ride – Two married military veterans ride over 355 miles of bike trail from Washington, D.C. to Pittsburgh.
1:00pm – Potomac By Air – America’s history is explored with an aerial trip along the striking curves of the Potomac River.
2:00pm – Penn’s Woods – Follow the chronology of PA’s Environmental History highlighting the accomplishments and challenges we’ve faced along the way.
3:00pm – Anthem – This documentary tells the story behind Francis Scott Key’s creation of “The Star-Spangled Banner.”
4:00pm – Jazz Ambassadors: United States Army Field Band – The Jazz Ambassadors, the United States Army’s premiere touring big band, perform music of the era.
5:00pm – U.S. Marine Band: An All-Star Orchestra Special #101 – The beloved folk melodies and lively dances of Grainger’s “Lincolnshire Posy” are highlighted.
6:00pm – U.S. Marine Band: An All-Star Orchestra Special #102 – Revolutionary War melodies provide the inspiration for William Schuman’s “New England Triptych.”
7:00pm – The Best of the Boston Pops – Many of the greatest moments from the world-renowned orchestra’s 129-year history are showcased.
8:00pm – A Capitol Fourth – Celebrate America’s 244th birthday with an all-star musical extravaganza and amazing fireworks. More information…
9:30pm – A Capitol Fourth – Replay of the 8:00pm broadcast
11:00pm – Music specials broadcast all night with Austin City Limits and Live from the Artists Den.
