Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine speaks during a press conference on March 16, 2020.
Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine has calmly provided information and advice on the coronavirus during daily briefings in Harrisburg for the past two weeks.
Dr. Levine joins us on a special Smart Talk Friday at 1 p.m. to discuss the events and news since the pandemic began to spread in Pennsylvania.
Among the topics to be addressed with Dr. Levine are the state’s biggest challenges relating to the coronavirus, whether the state is prepared for more cases of COVID-19, are there enough tests, how close Pennsylvania is to a peak in the number of cases, what’s working and what’s not and whether it’s realistic to think stay-at-home and away from work limitations will be lifted anytime soon.
As of Friday, 2,218 cases of COVID-19 and 22 deaths have been reported in Pennsylvania.
