  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

Season 9 of Call The Midwife premieres on WITF beginning Sunday March 29. In the meantime, WITF presents a marathon of the show’s 8th season.

We’ll head back to the start of season 8 at 6pm on Sunday March 22. It’s spring of 1964 and everyone is excited for the Queen’s Royal Birth.

With the additions of two new Sisters, who have been sent to live and work with the team in Poplar, Nonnatus House feels full once more.

The marathon begins at 6pm and runs until 2am on Sunday March 22.  Season 8 of Call The Midwife is not available on WITF Passport.

Also, the holiday special from December will rebroadcast Sunday March 29 at 6:30pm just ahead of the new season.
