Access, Transparency and Your Right to Know

  • Kate Landis/PA Post
Out of an abundance of caution, PA Post and its conference partners – Spotlight PA, PublicSource, the Pittsburgh Media Partnership, LNP/The Caucus and the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association – are postponing the Access and Transparency one-day conference scheduled for Friday, March 20 in Pittsburgh.

This was not an easy decision. We were looking forward to spending a full day during Sunshine Week 2020 talking with fellow journalists and journalism students about Pennsylvania’s Right to Know, Sunshine and Clean Slate laws.

Thankfully, coronavirus has not been detected in western Pennsylvania as of Tuesday afternoon. But a growing number of public health experts is urging organizations to reschedule events and other gatherings to help combat the virus’s spread.

As soon as we are able to reschedule this event, we will share details.
