NPR’s Noel King appears on Smart Talk

  • Scott LaMar

NPR Morning Edition host Noel King is one of the voices that comes into your home or car radio several times a week. She, like other NPR journalists, report news and interview newsmakers to provide a more in-depth understanding of the news from across the country and around the world, each day.

WITF listeners embrace the people behind the voices they hear everyday and are always interested in what goes on behind the scenes at NPR, and to hear NPR journalist’s observations about the news.

Noel King appears on Monday’s Smart Talk to discuss topics, including  free press, newsmakers who don’t tell the whole truth, fact-checking during live interviews, the issues that resonate the most with Americans, the almost daily flood of significant news, how editorial decisions are made at NPR and how working as a journalist in Sudan prepared her for what she does now in Washington.
