  Fred Vigeant is WITF's Director of Programming and Promotions for TV and Radio. Fred manages the schedules for our radio and television platforms. He also analyzes audience research and manages the public affairs program Smart Talk. Previously, Fred was at WRVO in Oswego, NY for 12 years serving in various roles including Program Director and before that Operations Manager. Fred graduated from the State University of New York College at Oswego with a B.A. in Mass Communications and Broadcasting.

Launched in 2000 Studio 360 used the tagline “Where art and real life collide.”

The weekly arts and pop culture program has aired on WITF and hundreds of public radio stations across the country.

This fall, the show’s distributor Public Radio Exchange (PRX) sent a message to stations announcing the program will end production of the show.

Studio 360 will continue broadcasting on WITF 89.5 & 93.3 Sundays at 2:00pm through December 29.

WITF will announce a new Sunday afternoon line-up next month to begin January 4.

Studio 360’s archive will still be available to listen back to previous episodes of the series.
