RSVP to Smart Talk Road Trip to Bube’s Brewery October 11

The next stop on WITF’s Smart Talk Road Trip is Bube’s Brewery in Mount Joy. It will be our first subterranean broadcast, as we will host the show live from The Catacombs Restaurant. Come on out and watch the broadcast on Wednesday, October 11 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. 

Confirmed guests

• Sam Allen, owner, Bube’s Brewery. Sam will talk about the brewery’s recent feature on the TV show Food Paradise.
• Lew Bryson, a freelance writer specializing in beer and spirits. He is the author of the books Pennsylvania Breweries and Tasting Whiskey as well as numerous articles in trade and consumer magazines. They’ll talk about the History of Brewing in PA, the Lager Beer Boom in the mid 1800’s, plus the current Craft beer craze.
• Jean Ellis, great-granddaughter of Alois Bube and original Bube’s ghost tour guide. She will talk about spirits of another kind and paranormal activity at Bube’s and all around South Central Pennsylvania.
