(Gettysburg) —  Adams County’s prison warden Brian Clark is leaving his job for a new position, commissioner Randy Phiel said in an email Monday.

The commissioners and county prison board plan to appoint an interim warden to replace Clark, who was warden at Adams County Adult Correctional Complex since January 2008.

Clark is leaving Adams for a job in Dauphin County, Phiel said.

“Warden Clark has been instrumental in enhancing the professional operation of the Adams County Prison and has been a significant asset to our staff, operations and residents,” Phiel said. “We wish Warden Clark the very best as he embarks on another step in his professional career.”
