(Harrisburg) — Today, Republican President-elect Donald Trump is slated to be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States.

Tomorrow as many as 200,000 people are set to join the Women’s March on Washington to voice their opposition to the new administration and hundreds ofPennsylvanians will be among their ranks.

At least 15,00 Pennsylvanians are officially signed up to join the Women’s March on Washington.

Alexandra Hackett Ferber, co-organizer of the March’s Pennsylvania Chapter, says connecting people around the state with buses and car pools has been a second full time job.

But she says she stays motivated by the stories of people in small towns who don’t feel comfortable or safe talking about their opposition to Donald Trump.

“But once they get to DC and they’re surrounded by hundreds of thousands of other like-minded people, that will give them the courage that they need,” she says. “So, if we can help them get there, all of this work, extra work is worth it.”

Ferber says the march won’t be a one-and-done event.

She hopes it will inspire people to get involved and create change in their own communities in whatever way they can.
