In this episode, we feature the Kempf family (Dwight, Jill, Caitlin, and Alexandra) from Orefield as they visit the Pittsburgh area.

The Kempfs are a adventurous bunch who enjoy exploring places that are new, different and off the beaten path. Is a trip to Pittsburgh just what they’ve been looking for?

Family Profile:

Kathryn with the Kempf familyMeet the Kempf family! They certainly get around the state with parents Dwight and Jill as the ringleaders and daughters Caitlin and Alexandra just adding to their adventure!

Heralding from Orefield in Lehigh County, they spend their time with Girl Scouts, church activities, and of course, exploring!

They have recently adopted the hobby of geocaching (a type of scavenger hunt for waterproof containers bearing treasure using the containers' exact geographic coordinates and Global Positioning System devices.)

Their journeys have taken them from the falls of Rickett’s Glen to the cold air cave in the Poconos to abandoned railroad tunnels and every conceivable kind of topography you can imagine!

Watch the Kempf’s as they take on their next adventure: Pittsburgh! What will this busy city hold in store for them? Watch and find out!
