Meet Jackie Maxie and LaVette Paige, two gospel singing sisters from Harrisburg. These ladies love to perform and enjoy seeking out new opportunities for adventure and travel.

Jackie Maxie &  LaVette Paige

LaVette is a retired research analyst and part-time pastor at her family’s church. Jackie works for the Pennsylvania State Police and sings in the church choir. With their full schedules and busy lives a getaway to the country is just what they need.

Baldwin Reynolds House Museum
Step into Crawford County History. Once the home of a U.S. Supreme Court Justice and two mayors of Meadville , this gracious, four-story home is now open to the public as a historic house museum. Furnishings original to the house are complemented by those from other area families of the time. Through exhibits, programs, publications, and special events, the Crawford County Historical Society offers visitors the opportunity to "be there"...to experience something of social and domestic life of county residents at the turn of the twentieth century.

 

 

The Knapp Farm

While visiting, you can hope to see several hundred beef cattle, working Australian Blue Heeler Cattle dogs, Texas longhorn cattle, and the general workings of a large family farm operation--every day has a different routine.
