Along the banks of the Lehigh sits the quaint Victorian town of Jim Thorpe. Named for the famous Native American athlete, the town is known for its historic mansions, eclectic boutiques and easy access to outdoor adventure.
While visiting, be sure to check out the Old Jail Museum. Closed for operation in 1995, the jail has a long and storied history. Complete with ties to the Molly Maguire’s and rumors of paranormal activity.
