The Ashland parade is a tradition over 100 years old. Get ready for some good ol’ fashioned hometown fun in Schuylkill County. Deep in the heart of coal country festivities continue all weekend long in communities like Ashland, Girardville, Shenandoah, and Ringtown. Visitors from all over the state are invited to come home to Schuylkill County to discover its mining heritage and ethnic pride.

Meet the Leidigh Family from Carlisle. They can’t wait to explore the story of Ashland Homecoming and its importance to the community. Other stops also include: Anthracite Museum of Mining, The Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine, Centralia, Tuscarora State Park, and Jerry’s Classic Cars.
