Itinerary

KEYSTONE ART & CULTURE CENTER
The Keystone Art and Culture Center is a Lancaster hot spot…literally! Sculptor George Mummert is a master of molten metal specializing in bronze. Here at his studio, visitors can get an up close look at his intricate and often fiery artistic process.

LANCASTER MUSEUM OF ART
Just a short drive from Lancaster Central Market you’ll find an art museum that’s constantly reinventing itself. The Lancaster Museum of Art showcases permanent displays, plus 16 rotating exhibits each year, making it a museum you’ll want to visit again and again. Oh yeah, admission won’t cost you a thing. It’s a perfect place for a free afternoon of family fun!

SIGHT AND SOUND THEATRE
South of Route 30 near Strasburg, you’ll find Sight & Sound Theatre. Each year, nearly 800,000 people from around the globe come to experience the theatre’s unique productions. Based on Bible stories, each musical requires an army of talented professionals to pull off lavish performances. Take a behind-the-scenes tour to meet the people…and critters…that make it all happen!

ROB EVANS
In his York County studio, Rob takes ordinary things and transforms them into something magical. The mystery and haunting beauty of his subjects encourage viewers to find their own meaning in his paintings.

PHYLLIS KOSTER
With her studio located in an idyllic county setting, fiber artist Phyllis Koster doesn’t need to go much further than her own studio to find inspiration. Weaving since the age of 12, Phyllis transforms colorful hand-dyed yarns into exquisite works of art .

SAMUEL S. LEWIS STATE PARK
High above York’s rolling countryside on Mt. Pisgah sits Samuel Lewis State Park. From its 71 acres, visitors get a breathtaking view of the Susquehanna River down below. Although the park is small, there’s lots of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. In fact, it’s an excellent spot for kite flying.
