Explore PA takes on the Ridgway Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous!

Every February over 200 carvers from across the nation…and around the world…bring their talents to Ridgway for the annual Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous. This sleepy little town in the heart of Elk County fills with the electric sound of revving chainsaws and the sweet smell of sawdust. Kick back and watch as skillful artisans transform rough and rugged timber into delicate works of art!

Meet travelers Al, Eric and Brian…three buddies from Schuylkill County. This energetic crew grew up together in Pennsylvania’s Coal Region. We thought a perfect road trip for them would be to hop in the car and head for the PA Wilds…an area known for another kind of industry…the lumber industry!
