THE CHIMNEY’S VIOLIN SHOP
A visit to The Chimneys' Violin Shop is like taking a trip back into the 18th Century. Each stringed instrument is handcrafted from start to finish using the same materials and tools used by 18th Century Italian Masters. Internationally known and respected for his quality craftsmanship, Master Violin Maker Edward Campbell’s shop in Boiling Springs, PA offers visitors and shoppers a glimpse inside the careful process of creating a truly unique violin.
VILLAGE ARTISANS
Village Artisans in Boiling Springs features 250 artists and focuses primarily on works made right here in Pennsylvania. Visitors can find everything from folk art and jewelry to fine art and photography. If you’re lucky, you might even catch internationally known woodcarver Gay Foltz in action!
MEADOWBROOKE GOURDS
Tucked away in the rolling farmland near Carlisle you’ll find Meadowbrooke Gourds.
Farmer Benjamin Bear grows and dries over 100 varieties of gourds, then cuts them and decorates them- creating beautiful artistic pieces in the process. Meadowbrooke Gourds is available for tours, and features special open houses around the holidays.
NED SMITH NATURE AND ART CENTER
Discover how nature inspires creativity at the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art. The Center celebrates the life and work of nationally recognized wildlife artist, naturalist and writer Ned Smith.
