Day One Itinerary
Blue Sky Red Earth, Milford
Tucked away in a historic 1903 Schoolhouse you’ll find one of Milford 's best-kept secrets. Since 1999, Blue Sky Red Earth Tribal Arts has been celebrating the creativity of Indigenous people. Explore Native American artwork created using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
Grey Towers National Historic Landmark, Milford
Grey Towers was the home of Gifford Pinchot. He founded the U.S. Forest Service and served two terms as Pennsylvania Governor. Gifford’s father James was one of the first people to make the connection between art and conservation.
Lake Wallenpaupack
Get back on the road and head west. Route 6 takes you through the town of Hawley and right past Lake Wallenpaupack, the state 's third-largest artificial lake. It’s also huge! 13 miles long, with 52 miles of shoreline…that means there’s plenty of space to boat, hike, camp, and just plain enjoy the scenery!

Day Two Itinerary
Houdini Museum, Scranton
Did you know that Houdini lives in Scranton? Well, not really but his spirit lives on in this unique museum dedicated to his magical artistry. In fact, it’s the only museum in the world entirely devoted to Harry Houdini.
Everhart Museum, Scranton
A landmark in northeastern Pennsylvania for nearly a century, the Everhart Museum is the center of cultural life in Scranton. Exhibits range from natural history and science, to changing exhibitions and a very impressive art collection. The museum’s outstanding American Folk Art collection was one of the first in the country.
Strugatz Art, New Albany
Visit the studio of artist Fred Strugatz and experience the beauty of his hand-carved stone sculptures. Fred’s primitive techniques date back to ancient artists who found meaning and shape in the natural world.
Ricketts Glen State Park, Red Rock
Take a slight detour south of Route 6 just outside the town of Red Rock and witness one of Mother Nature’s greatest works of art at Ricketts Glen State Park! 22 spectacular waterfalls make it “Must See”. Hike the Falls Trail and explore a series of wild, free-flowing waterfalls including the 94-foot Ganoga Falls.
