The Laurel Highlands region has a long-standing passion for the arts. And the Artists’ Trail along historic Route 30 winds its way through tons of unique cultural gems. Meet the Reddig Family from Lititz. Dennis, Nancy, Jennifer and Jerica are ready for an artistic adventure on Route 30. Starting in Greensburg, the Reddig’s will make their way along the Lincoln Highway and uncover artist treasures, plus a few other surprises, in the surrounding area. Explore the Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Create stained glass at St. Vincent College. Go hummock hopping at Laurel Summit State Park plus much more!

ITINERARY OVERVIEW

DAY ONE
Jazz Jam Session at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Greensburg
• Sit back, relax, and enjoy the music and art offered up by the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

Visit Historic Hanna’s Town, Greensburg
• Participate in living history as you take part in a historic court case as it was tried at Hanna's Town 1773 to 1782

St. Vincent Grist Mill, Latrobe
• Learn to make stained glass windows and what it takes to make bread the rustic way.

DAY TWO
Experience Matt Stein Woodworker, Latrobe
• Help Matt handcraft Windsor Chairs or 18th century furnishings using traditional methods nearly two centuries old.

Get outdoors at Laurel Summit State Park, Rector
• Blaze the trails mountain biking and learn how to hummock hop.

Tour The Compass Inn Museum, Laughlintown
• Enjoy "History with a Smile" as costumed docents tell the story of transportation and life in the early 1800s.

Hit the track at Jennerstown Speedway, Jennerstown
• Do you have what it takes to be a NASCAR Nextel Cup driver? Well find out by climbing into a race-ready Busch Series racecar and experience what it takes to tame a 355 horsepower racecar on Western Pennsylvania’s finest short track oval speedway.
