Harrisburg resident Helen Bender Metzger married her husband on December 6, 1941 -- the day before the attack on Pearl Harbor. Hershey resident Pat McIntyre's father, two brothers and husband all saw action in the war. For these two women, memories of the home front during the war are vivid and powerful.
