EPISODE 1 - EDUCATION: SUCCESS IN STAGES (aired THURSDAY, JANUARY 3, 2008)
Technology – Traditional classrooms are becoming a thing of the past in both public and higher educations as worldwide classrooms, cyber charter schools, and computers are an integral part of most curriculums. What does it mean for the future of education?
Early childhood education – Research shows the earlier a child begins his or her education, the more successful he/she will be – not only in school but as adults.
Higher education – Colleges and universities have dramatic impacts on the towns or cities where they’re located. Often the “town and gown” experience is positive, especially in the areas of economic development and job creation. But a recent Pennsylvania Economy League study says sometimes the institutions’ negative impact out weight the positives.
Family Education – Sometimes the schools are viewed as the sole institution responsible for our children’s educations. What role does family communication play in early childhood education?

Episode 2: Energy and Infrastructure: Where We Need To Be (aired Thursday, April 10 at 8 p.m.)
Infrastructure - Pennsylvania's roads, bridges, power plants, and water and sewer systems are the lifeblood of our economy. Without a strong infrastructure, Pennsylvania can't grow and prosper.
Fuels - We’ve often heard we must reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and Pennsylvania has been exploring new energies to do just that. Also, alternative energy takes many forms. Pennsylvania's blessed with a diverse farming industry and abundant supplies of timber ... just two ingredients fueling bio-mass.
Green Technologies - Building green - constructing eco-friendly houses and buildings -- isn't just good for the environment. It can be good for the bottom line.
Roads - Anyone who regularly rides Pennsylvania roads knows we have an aging highway system. So any serious discussion about our infrastructure needs has to include plans to upgrade our roads and bridges.
