I am sorry that there has not been more comments and conversation with these last episodes. I have just been so busy and not able but I have wanted to. Now with the season ended we go back to wondering what will come next season. I am happy that things ended on a rather good note. Bates has proven his worthiness again and although Tom messed up by bringing the woman for a tour of the house, I don't think that Lord Grantham will make a big deal of it. Even if Barrow tries to make it one. Tom just has to learn to show a little more backbone when it comes to the fairer sex. As for Edith, we'll see if her trust in Mr. Drew will be well placed or not. He could fleece her with the knowledge that he has.

I am disappointed that they skipped a whole year in between episodes 7 and 8. So much could have been done with that time. And nothing has happened in the situation with Gregson. Don't know where that will lead but Germany at that time was not the place to be. Now Lady Rose will be in the hunt for a husband! And Ivy will be gone to America. Wonder if we will see Harold again, and Lady Madelyn.

I for one have enjoyed listening to your thoughts about the shows. Especially the historically perspectives and backgrounds. Thanks for sharing.
