An update from Paul : Thanks, in part, to the generous $20,000 new member challenge grant contributed by the McCormick Family Foundation, and a group of additional gifts from Premier Circle members, we were able to welcome 234 new donors and 170 returning donors to the WITF family. These contributions, collectively, accounted for 56% of the total gifts received and 46% of all revenue. The campaign also produced an increase in the average gift to an all-time high of $154.86. As part of the campaign, WITF offered a green initiative to coincide with Earth Day and Pennsylvania’s Arbor Day celebrations. One of our thank you gifts allowed donors to plant a tree in honor of someone special as part of the Mendocino National Forest Restoration Project. Proudly we can say that 192 trees will be planted in support of this worthy cause. These pledges accounted for over $14,000 in contributions and 13% of the total revenue received.
