The state that lost its swing?

Written by Mary Wilson, Capitol Bureau Chief | Aug 28, 2012 7:48 PM

The Post-Gazette’s Early Returns blog turns up this nugget – about a cancelled order for television ads in Pittsburgh by a superPAC that knows how to pick ‘em:

Americans For Prosperity, the conservative SuperPAC funded by the Koch Brothers, is indeed cancelling its Pennsylvania advertising by the look of its buys here in Pittsburgh -- here are cancellation orders with WPXI-TV for this week and next.

PoliticsPA has more -- the ads have been pulled from two Philly stations, as well:

However, AFP is mum on their current media market situation, and did not confirm whether or not they are pulling away from PA.

“We’re making changes to our ad flights frequently – nothing necessarily stays the same for long. Beyond that, we actually don’t discuss details of our own internal strategy,” said AFP Spokesperson Levi Russell to the Philadelphia Daily News.
