What do demarche, autochthonous, stromuhr and vivisepulture have in common? They are all championship words from the Scripps National Spelling Bee. As a stepping stone to Scripps, sixth, seventh and eighth graders in ten surrounding counties have the opportunity to participate in WITF’s Central PA Spelling Bee through their registered school. The winner and parent/guardian will win an all-expense paid trip to participate in Scripps National Spelling Bee.
