Help for people that have to leave their homes and have pets. Red Cross has been saying TAKE YOUR PETS.

STEELTON: emergency pet shelter at 1720 N. Cameron St, around the corner from the Able Union Hall shelter. Actively accepting pets for Harrisburg, Steelton, Middletown, Highspire evacuees.

DAUPHIN COUNTY residents with pets: proceed to John Harris High School.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY residents with pets should proceed to the Lower Allen Township Building (behind municipal services building at 2233 Gettysburg Road
Camp Hill)

Evacuated residents with pets from DAUPHIN, CUMBERLAND, PERRY, AND NORTHERN YORK COUNTIES may proceed to HSHA's shelter, where we are offering temporary emergency pet housing.

ELDERLY RESIDENTS OR RESIDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO TRANSPORTATION may contact HSHA at 717-564-3320.

PET FOOD DONATIONS are needed for HSHA to give to pet owners who have been evacuated and need food assistance.
