And we are pleased to present a conversation about the ongoing political and social unrest in Iran with two noted experts: Joyce Davis, Senior Vice President for Content at WITF, and Dr. Mehdi Noorbaksh, Associate Professor of International Affairs at the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Before joining WITF, Joyce worked closely with Iranians and supervised American broadcasts into Iran through Radio Farda. She has written two books on Islam. Dr. Noorbaksh is working on a book about the interaction of Islam, nationalism and democratic change in Iran. His father-in-law, a prominent Iranian reform activist was jailed this week by the Iranian government.
