As part of witf's Facing Cancer Together project, Radio Smart Talk examines skin cancer with Dr. Teri McGillis of the Dermasurgery Center in Lancaster.
In our second segment, we'll talk to filmmaker Tim Gray of the WWII Foundation about his efforts to erect an monument in France to Major Dick Winters, who died last January. Winters, who was born in Lancaster County and lived in Hershey, commanded Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division in World War II. His story was made famous by the book and HBO film Band of Brothers.
