Then again, if an older driver's reflexes are shot – if he or she is getting into lots of accidents, should the state be empowered to act? In states with aging populations, like Pennsylvania and Florida, we have to consider the safety of other drivers. Some propose mandatory driving tests for drivers beyond a certain age. Is such an idea wise, or discriminatory?
