Should there be an age limit for driving?

Written by  Craig Cohen

Then again, if an older driver's reflexes are shot – if he or she is getting into lots of accidents, should the state be empowered to act? In states with aging populations, like Pennsylvania and Florida, we have to consider the safety of other drivers. Some propose mandatory driving tests for drivers beyond a certain age. Is such an idea wise, or discriminatory?

Guests include: Cindy Brough-Product Sales & Public Relations Manager at AAA Central Penn, Mike Pavlovich-Pennsylvania State Coordinator of AARP’s Driver Safety Program, Danielle Klinger-Community Relations Coordinator for PA Dept. of Transportation's Safety Administration, Leonora LaPeter Anton-Staff Writer, St. Petersburg Times and Dr. Ahmad Hameed, Psychiatrist.
