Corn farmers, of course, stand to profit from greater concentrations of ethanol. Oil companies stand to lose. But what about the consumer - do cars actually run better or worse on gasoline with higher concentrations of ethanol? What if someone accidentally fills up an older car with 15 percent ethanol – could it damage their engine? And is this really what we want to make with our corn? We'll discuss the pros and cons of ethanol as an alternative fuel.
