On the road this weekend? You may want to tune in.

Written by  Craig Cohen

The holiday weekend and the additional vehicle traffic means the Pennsylvania State Police will have extra patrols on the roadways to be on the lookout for impatient, reckless, speeding or drunk drivers. To be safe and to stay out of trouble, motorists should be especially mindful of the laws of the road.

A refresher course is probably a good thing and that's what Wednesday's Radio Smart Talk is designed to be. In what is always one of the most popular programs of the year, Lt. Myra Taylor of the Pennsylvania State Police will answer your vehicle code and traffic questions. Call 1-800-729-7532 or email questions to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. When is a left turn on red legal, who has the right-of-way at a four-way stop sign, or is it legal to drive in the passing lane on a highway -- all questions are welcome.
