Merit selection of judges has been proposed before but has never gotten enough support from those who don't want to take away the right of the voters to decide which judges sit on the bench. Lynn Marks, the Executive Director of Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts joins us on Radio Smart Talk to discuss the pros and cons of merit selection. Also, the award-winning film urfrenz, which dramatizes the dangers of social networking and sexting, will be shown at the Allen theatre in Annville Tuesday, April 27 at 8 p.m. The film's director Jeff Phillips and Gary Rusen of the Executive Director of Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center of Lebanon will talk about the issues.
