The debate has spawned many questions -- Will there be a government run insurance plan? Will employers be forced to pay if they don't insure their workers? Will government determine the treatments of patients? These and many other questions have been asked and not necessarily clearly answered.

Another roadblock for the president has been the emergence of so-called "Blue Dog Democrats" -- fiscally conservative Democrats who don't support much of Obama's plan.
