Monday's Radio Smart Talk is our final encore program -- looking back at the issues or topics that had the most impacted in 2011.  Monday's show highlights witf's Facing Cancer Together initiative.

Facing Cancer Together is an interactive multimedia effort in partnership with Lancaster General Health, PinnacleHealth, and WellSpan Health – to connect the stories and lives of people touched by cancer in Central Pennsylvania.

Designed to inspire and guide honest conversations about the many aspects of cancer – from treatment options close to home, to survivor and caregiver concerns, to healthy lifestyle choices for cancer prevention – Facing Cancer Together engaged Central Pennsylvanians across all of our media.

Radio Smart Talk played a large role in this effort – we devoted at least a part of one show, every week, to conversations about cancer and its impact on all of us.
