And members of the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce are eligible to become part of a power-buying pool through a company called On Demand Energy Solutions. That pool will allow its members to pay reduced rates. (Residential customers may get the same opportunity later this year).
So, just what exactly will happen come January 1st, 2011 in Franklin County? And what have PPL customers throughout the region experienced since rate caps expired for them last January?
We'll find out during a live broadcast from the Heritage Center in downtown Chambersburg, where we'll speak with David Sciamanna, the President of the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and John Bodine, Vice President of Business Development for On Demand Energy Solutions. We'll also talk with Doug Collafella, the manager of Corporate Communications for Allegheny Power, and we'll welcome your questions about Franklin County rate caps, and your observations and experiences since rate caps expired for PPL customers throughout the Commonwealth.
