Breast and cervical cancer screenings

Then, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists said women can wait until age 21 for their first pap smear that is used to find cervical cancer. Up until now, it was accepted that women should get a pap test within three years of becoming sexually active.

The two medical bombshells have left many women confused about when they should get the tests. Some are suspicious too because of the on-going controversy over health care costs and insurance.
