Now in its 10th year, the war in Afghanistan is one of America's longest conflicts. Officials have said among the most important components of an eventual U.S. exit are ensuring security for the Afghan people, and keeping the Taliban and al Qaida out of the country. Once American military forces do leave, security will be left up to Afghan police and military.
Americans have been training the Afghans for years, but has that training been successful? We'll talk to Colonel Scot Arey, Chief of Staff for the Deputy Commander for Regional Support, National Training Mission in Afghanistan
