He served as the appellate adviser for the defense in the OJ Simpson trial in 1995, and he's defended other high profile clients, including Mike Tyson, Patty Hearst, and Jim Bakker. He's also written a number of books about politics and law. His latest book, The Trials of Zion, is a work of fiction, and his third novel featuring the character Abe Ringel, a celebrity lawyer much like Dershowitz.
