Jazz Saxophonist Tim Warfield grew up in York, Pa, but he’s been all around the world performing with some of the biggest names in jazz. This time of year he’s touring with his live show,  Tim Warfield’s All-Star Jazzy Christmas. The show is at the Strand Capitol in York on Saturday evening, December 21, starting at 7:30, and Dec 22 in Baltimore . Tim joins us on Smart Talk  today to talk about his career and to bring along some holiday music from his Christmas album.

Also,  pianist Steve Rudolph drops by. He has a new album out with Jonathan Ragonese called Ardent Marigolds and he’s composing a new work to be premiered by the Harrisburg Symphony in February. We’ll hear some of his jazzy seasonal music as well. And both Warfield and Rudolph's recordings will be featured Saturday evening on witf's Center Stage Jazz Christmas Party
