How is it that Progress For America released a statement congratulating you for your decision on not to create a health care exchange in PA 20 minutes before you released the statement to the public?

Is the willingness to sell the lottery to a british company the result of your trip to europe?

  • sjfotos img 2012-12-16 12:37

That is easy. How is it that the Second Mile has escaped all criminal and civil liability in the Sandusky Trial and isn't it a bit unseemly to have accepted large campaign donations from this very same charity? shouldn't those be contributed to a Child Abuse prevention organization as a start?

Second, why are you allowing the NCAA to take monies out of the Commonwealth via the $60 million fine?

  • Wendy Silverwood img 2012-12-17 09:51

Why did you feel it necessary in 2010 to subpoena Twitter (of all things) and attend 2Mile Chair Bob Poole's $$ Fundraiser and NOT subpoena 2Mile or Sandusky until mid 2011?

One would reasonably conclude from this action that abused children from a state licensed charity founded & funded by a pedophile are far, far less important as a silly social medium and the gladhanding of sponsors while juggling a gin & tonic.

What hard and factual evidence did you have that convinced you, who then convinced the BoT, to fire Joe Paterno, and why was Joe not asked or allowed an opportunity to refute those charges?

  • jeffr775 img 2012-12-17 12:12

Why hasn't the State of Pennsylvania called for a Federal Special Prosecutor to do a full investigation of The Second Mile (since you have obvious conflicts of interests with TSM) as it relates to their role in enabling Jerry Sandusky?

  • Signor Ferrari img 2012-12-17 17:38

Why did you wait until after you were elected governor to assign state police to the Sandusky case? Why was the case assigned to a narcotics officer instead of the child predator unit? Why did it take more than a year to search Sandusky's home? Were you working on a deadline to indict Bill DeWeese and John Perzel before the unofficial launch of your gubernatorial campaign in January 2010, and do you think you could have avoided the rush if you'd investigated them in earnest starting in 2007? Was there an implicit or explicit agreement not to use any of the evidence Bill DeWeese turned over in 2007 - as the result of "negotiation" - against him? Did that negotiation limit investigators when you finally decided to pursue charges after the infamous "U R welcome" email was exposed?

  • Signor Ferrari img 2012-12-17 17:57

Also, how is it that none of your investigators managed to identify a single Sandusky victim themselves? Every victim in the case either self-identified or was reported to the police by someone else. What were those investigators doing for three long years?

    (1) Was the nomination of Linda Kelly - your successor at Attorney General of PA, an assistant U.S. attorney like you were once, and also a SW PA person like yourself - your personal political agenda, so that the Jerry Sandusky scandal would break wide open while you are a Board of Trustee member of Penn State University?

    (2) Did you have any professional or personal interaction with Louis Freeh before you became a Penn State BoT member?

    (3) Was the nomination of Ron Tomalis - your personal choice for Education Secretary of PA - a personal political agenda, knowing that the education secretary would also serve on the BoT of Penn State University?

    (4) Did you have any discussions with any BoT members of Penn State regarding the selection of Ron Tomalis as vice chair of the Special Investigations Task Force - a subcommittee of the Penn State BoT?

    (5) Did you have any discussions with any Penn State BoT members about Louis Freeh or his partners before the Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan law firm was retained on Nov 21, 2011 by the Special Investigations Task Force?

    (6) Did you have any discussions with any Penn State BoT members about your role and your knowledge in the investigation of the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse case?

    (7) Did you have any discussions with any persons connected to the Freeh Sporkin & Sullivan investigation at Penn State University before or during the investigation process?

  • Mike Neary img 2012-12-29 01:19

Given the fact that you, as AG in the 2008 Sandusky investigations, did not charge Sandusky immediately after indications of child molestation because, as you stated, you had limited resources and needed to do a thorough investigation that took years before indicting Sandusky and stopping him from molesting others. This is in light of the fact there had been a previous investigation of Sandusky in 1998 for the same type of behavior.

How do you reconcile these statements with the facts that you assigned one investigator to the Sandusky case involving child molestation versus assigning seven investigators to the Bonusgate case involving questionable payments to mostly political opponents with seemingly political motivations on your part?

Your actions do not seem to fit with your statements.

  • JustUn img 2013-01-03 16:32

    1) Given the slow pace of such lawsuits, do you have any hope that any relief from the sanctions will be attained before the Penn State football program is irreparably damaged?
