Living well with less -- Radio Smart Talk

Written by Craig Cohen | Feb 15, 2011 4:39 PM

Radio Smart Talk for Wednesday, February 16:

In a sluggish economy, it’s natural to think you have to accept making do with less. 30 years ago, author Doris Janzen Longacre took a different approach, suggesting that, in fact, the key is “Living More With Less.”

The late author’s book was reissued last fall, edited by Valerie Weaver-Zercher, who will join Scott LaMar to discuss how the ideas in the book underscore a Mennonite ideal to live simply and frugally, not for one’s own edification, but to engage with and take steps to alleviate global poverty.

Also appearing: Financial Adviser Chris Hasircoglu, the Senior Partner at Lancaster County Financial group will also offer tips on making your finances go farther.
