Elysburg is the same shortest distance, about 137 miles, from Ground Zero, the Pentagon and the Flight 93 crash site in Somerset County. It's the home of a small, but popular, amusement park; otherwise, it's Anytown, USA. The unique geographic tie led witf news to visit Elysburg one year after the 9/11 attacks.
