(Philadelphia) -- A Pennsylvania museum is hosting the first public display of several items that were found at the site of the September 11th attacks in New York City. The "Fragments from 9/11" exhibit is making its debut at the Penn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania. Williams Director of the Museum, Richard Hodges, says the exhibit focuses on the everyday items that were recovered from the rubble at the World Trade Center. "What we've tried to do is actually draw attention to the small objects, the small things that come from excavations, rather than the monumentality of the Towers themselves," he says. Hodges says some of the objects on display include visitors' badges, eyeglasses, and a keyboard that's barely recognizable due to charring. The exhibit will run in Philadelphia through November. It will eventually be displayed at the National September 11th Memorial and Museum in New York City.
