(Harrisburg) -- For decades, communities across the midstate have celebrated their agricultural heritage through fairs. People gathered to talk farming, catch up with old friends or take a spin on the ferris wheel. Oh yeah, they also enjoyed plenty of food from milkshakes to funnel cakes. But, these annual events may be at-risk as their state funding continues to be reduced. This month, WITF's new series, Real Life | Real Issues, will look into how two midstate fairs may be impacted by the cuts, as well as their importance to their respective communities.
