(University Park) -- In an attempt to get the focus back on the victims of alleged child sexual abuse, Penn State students are planning a candlelight vigil tonight. The Nittany Lions play their last home game of the season tomorrow against Nebraska. Kevin Cirilli, a spokesman for the fraternities at Penn State, says the idea came from two senior students who thought people were spending too much time talking about a football program. The vigil, he says, is a show of solidarity from Penn State students to the victims of alleged assault. "I think that that sentiment is what...see it’s hard for me to even say that that’s what Penn State’s all about because at this point, everyone is questioning what Penn State is all about," he says. "But, if you had asked me last week, I would have told you that’s what Penn State’s all about." The candlelight will be on the Old Main lawn this evening. Students are also planning a blue-out at tomorrow’s game against Nebraska, instead of the traditional white-out in the student section of Beaver Stadium. Blue, says Cirilli, while one of the Penn State colors, is also the rallying color of RAINN, the largest anti-sexual violence organization in the country.
