(Harrisburg) -- Two Penn State officials are expected to surrender in Dauphin County today after being charged in a child sex scandal involving former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. Penn State Athletic Director Tim Curley and Senior Vice President for Finance and Business Gary Schultz are slated to turn themselves in to Harrisburg Magisterial District Judge Marsha Stewart this afternoon. They're charged with perjury and failure to report child abuse, which is a crime under the state's Child Protective Services law. A spokesman for the state Attorney General's office says it's taken years to charge Sandusky and the two officials because a grand jury needed time to hear testimony from many victims and university employees. Sandusky, who's charged with sexually abusing eight young men from his charitable organization The Second Mile, is due to appear at a preliminary hearing this week. State Attorney General Linda Kelly, who's expected to release more details on the case later today, is also working to identify any additional victims.
