(Harrisburg) -- The state's rapidly growing wine industry hopes to raise its visibility during this year's Farm Show. The Pennsylvania Winery Association says 20 wineries will be represented at the annual eight-day event in Harrisburg. Executive Director Jennifer Eckinger says the five-booth display in the main hall makes perfect sense at a show that honors farming. "Pennsylvania wineries are truly a combination of two of the largest industries in the state, agriculture and tourism. We're proud to be a part of both of those," Eckinger says. So-called "winery row" will offer tastings and the display will feature a new wine cork sculpture. The association has asked people to submit personal stories about Pennsylvania wines in a writing contest on its Website. The winner of will be announced on opening day Saturday.
