Occupy movement arrives in Harrisburg and York

Written by  Tim Lambert, witf Multimedia News Director

(Undated) -- The Occupy America movement has set up shop in at least two midstate cities. Occupy York plans to gather at the UAW meeting Hall at 3562 Gillespie Drive from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the White Rose City. Organizers say they stand in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street, which is protesting -- among other things -- the social and economic inequalities in the country. Saturday at midnight, Occupy Harrisburg will hold it's first official protest. The gathering will on the steps of the state Capitol, as part of the Global Day of Action. A spokesman says the group is non-partisan.
