Occupy Harrisburg protesters ordered to move

Written by  Megan Lello, witf Reporter and Producer

(Harrisburg) -- The Occupy Harrisburg movement is being kicked out of its spot along the city's Riverfront Park. Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson has ordered city police officers to notify protesters to take down their tents. A city spokesman says the 10 to 20 protesters are in violation of an ordinance that bans people from staying in parks that don't provide areas for organized camping. The mayor's office is calling for private land owners with vacant property to offer their space to campers.
